RMYP BBQ —Mark Your Calendars!  The 2010 Rocky Mountain Young Professionals Annual Summer BBQ will be on June 6th. 11:00AM to 4:00 PM – Washington Park at Picnic Site #1. Family and friends are welcome! RSVP by June 1st to Adam.Kremers@lrcwe.com.
The Operations Challenge Golf Tournament will be held at the Omni Interlocken Resort on June 7, 2010 this year. The golfer registration fee is $125.  This is the golf course the Denver Broncos held their annual tournament.  See website.

JOIN THE FUN at the 8th Annual Strikes and Spares for Science Fairs Bowling Tournament, Friday, June 11th – Lakewood, CO.  Prizes galore, food included, costumes encouraged!  Information and registration form at website

The RMSAWWA Section Lunch at ACE in Chicago will be a breakfast this year.  It will be at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, corner of Columbus Dr. and North Water St., from 7:15 - 8:30 AM on June 21, 2010.  Cost is $30/person, payable by June 4, 2010.  For more info,or to make a reservation, contact Martin Garcia, Section Director, at martin.garcia@denverwater.org.

LOCAL CONFERENCES AND TRAINING  

The 7th Annual AWWA/WEF Rocky Mountain Student Conference will be held on May 18th, 2010 at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  The conference theme is "All Things Water".    Registration information can be found on the website.  Email awwacustudentconference@gmail.com or contact Austa Parker at 864-350-3730 for more information. 

Water Treatment Inorganics Removal and  Disinfection Workshops offered on May 11, 2010.  Please see website 'Training' for details. 
The Joint Small Systems Committee is holding a Workshop for Small Water and Wastewater Systems in Glenwood Springs on May 13th, 2010.  Cost is $30 for RMSAWWA/RMWEA members.  TUs have been applied for.  See website for a class brochure and registration information.
