Stress Relief Workshop!! Feeling the pressure of customer service?  Taking all of their problems home with you?  Come to the "Managing Stress and Developing Resilience" workshop!  This is a free hands on workshop from 9AM to 1PM on February 19th in the Castle Rock Council Chambers.  Point of contact is Liz Campbell at campbelle@bouldercolorado.gov.
The 2010 RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference will be held at the Keystone Resort and Conference Center on September 11 – 15, 2010.  Deadline for abstracts on topics related to water and wastewater O&M is March 19, 2010

LOCAL CONFERENCES
Join the 9th Annual Red and Jerry's Seminar - February 11th, 2010!! Topics include: Nutrient recycling using Ostara’s PEARL process, phosphorus removal, differences between operations and engineering point of view, sustainability, data based design and integration – SCADA and more. The 5th Annual Grand Junction Wastewater Conference will be held March 24th – March 26th, 2010 at the Two Rivers Convention Center and the Persigo Treatment Plant.  Conference will have two tracks: Operations and Compliance & Maintenance and Collection Systems.  Topics will include WET/TIE testing and treatment considerations for toxic constituents.  Flagger certification will be offered in the collection system track.  See website.    
 
Call for Presentations!  The Water Distribution Committee is planning the 6th Annual Trinidad Water Distribution Workshop to be held in Trinidad on April 23, 2010.   To make a presentation on water distribution work, please submit a brief abstract to Lee Cesario http://lee.cesario@denverwater.org or Tom Ries tries@auroragov.org by February 8, 2010.

RMSAWWA is hiring an Administrative Manager. Applications are due by Feb. 5th, 2010.  A full job description is available at website.
 
Volunteers are needed to staff the RMSAWWA/RMWEA membership booth at Colorado Rural Water Association’s Annual Conference, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 2886 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, February 15th - 18th, 2010.  Please contact Ryan Duvé at (970) 224-1851 or rduve@nrce.com if you are able to volunteer.
