2009 RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference.  Exhibitor registration is now open for the RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference to be held in Albuquerque on September 13-16, 2009.  We have space for 120 booths, plus our island area where the Meet & Greet reception, Toilet Bowl Trivia Contest, Breakfast with Exhibitors, and Water Taste Test will be held.  Register early to get a prime booth spot.  See the conference webpage.

RMWEA is pleased to announce the RMWEA Sustainability Award.  This award recognizes wastewater treatment utlities that embrace the principles of sustainability.  See website for more details  Deadline for this and all RMWEA awards is June 13, 2009.
 
As a new addition to Rumbles, all water and wastewater utilities, engineering firms, vendors and regulatory agencies are invited to submit historical and/or biographical stories about their representative agency and the part they played in "How The West Was Won". Visit website
LOCAL CONFERENCES AND TRAINING
The Third Annual Distribution and Collection Advanced Operator Training Seminar is in Pueblo on Thursday, May 7 Register.  Don't delay!  The seminar is limited to the first 60 registrants.
 
The 6th Annual Joint Student Conference is on May 12 in Laramie.  Please contact Erika Schoen for details.

The Rocky Mountain Water and Wastewater Plant Operators School is a consortium of professionals from public and private entities partnering with the University of Colorado College of Engineering to provide continuing education to water and wastewater treatment plant operators.
