The RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference is scheduled for September 13–16, 2009 in Albuquerque , New Mexico . The next Conference Planning Committee meeting is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on March 19, 2009.  Email Jill.Peterson@ch2m.com for more information.
Check out our new conference webpage at www.rmsawwa.net or www.rmwea.org then click “ANNUAL CONFERENCE.”  Remember to submit your technical presentation abstracts by March 21, 2009.  As of February 24, we had ~20 abstracts and need many, many more. Submit your abstract on-line using the links above. Topics of interest include management, engineering, operations, water supply, finance, and wastewater treatment.

LOCAL CONFERENCES
The 2009 Rocky Mountain Reuse Workshop will be held at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO on Thursday, August 13th. Please submit abstracts by April 13th, 2009. Contact Tanja Rauch-Williams (trauch-williams@carollo.com) or visit  website.
The 5th Annual Trinidad Water Distribution Workshop will be held at the Quality Inn in Trinidad, Colorado on Friday April 24, 2009. The program will be posted on the RMSAWWA Calendar soon. It is that time of year again, when the weather starts getting warmer, days longer, and we reflect on those that make our everyday lives just a bit better. Time for annual WEF awards nominations! RMWEA is seeking nominations by June 1; visit website.
  
2009 RMSAWWA Board Nominations - Several positions on the RMSAWWA Board will be open in September 2009. The Nominations Committee is looking for members interested in the following positions: Trustee ( New Mexico ), Trustee (CO, NM or WY), and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. The Rocky Mountain Water and Wastewater Plant Operators School is a consortium of professionals from public and private entities partnering with the University of Colorado College of Engineering to provide continuing education to water and wastewater treatment plant operators.
