The 2009 RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center on September 13 – 16, 2009. 

Abstracts for topics related to water and wastewater O&M are sought.  Submit abstracts on-line at www.rmsawwa.net or www.rmwea.org and click on ANNUAL CONFERENCE. Abstracts are due March 21, 2009! 

LOCAL CONFERENCES
The 5th Annual Trinidad Water Distribution Workshop will be held at the Quality Inn in Trinidad, Colorado Friday April 24, 2009.  Interested in presenting? Submit a brief abstract to Lee Cesario at lee.cesario@denverwater.org.  Abstracts will be reviewed and a program put together in February.  Topics to include anything related to water distribution system.
 
 

The 2009 Rocky Mountain Reuse Workshop will be held at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO on Thursday, August 13th, 2009. Abstracts due April 13, 2009. For more information,  contact Tanja Rauch-Williams (trauch-williams@carollo.com) or visit the Water Reuse Joint Committee website.

2009 RMSAWWA Board Nominations - Several positions on the RMSAWWA Board will be open in September 2009. The Nominations Committee is looking for members interested in the following positions: Trustee ( New Mexico ), Trustee (CO, NM or WY), and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. The Rocky Mountain Water and Wastewater Plant Operators School is a consortium of professionals from public and private entities partnering with the University of Colorado College of Engineering to provide continuing education to water and wastewater treatment plant operators.
